The Chew Toy Update

In all honesty, its been a hell of a ride.  My faith has been shaken but not completely gone, what was predicted by me and countless others has been marshaled into everyday life, Obamacare is still in the news.  The downturn economy is following the Japanese model and every crisis of the Presidents choosing turns into red herrings and cash for his political PACs.

Quite honestly, I haven't felt much like writing.  The new surveillance systems seem to exist solely for the purpose of intimidating free ideas and free expression and intimidation of the opposition.  Not one to shy away from confronting a bully, I have been vocal and assume under the watchful eye of some fusion center somewhere.  It has revived an old interest in Russian Intellectuals, their humor and hundreds of thousands of links later, we have fully one third of the population actually believing the world is run by a conspiracy.

As I write this I have been lucky enough to get back into school and view the college scene from a community level. More on this later I suppose but suffice it to say my Biology teacher explained Darwin by saying that most of the worlds people believed that the world was flat when the Theory of Evolution was propose (1859).  You literally can not make this stuff up.

In my search for how to approach life on its mythical perspective, some things needed to change.  Outrage did not seem to be working from any discernible level. Millions of people marching on Washington DC did not seem to be working on any discernible level.  By careful observation and contrast with previous Administrations some of the governing models seem to be still intact but not working in any meaningful level of efficiency.  Primarily, all that outrage seems to have done only one visible thing in the last five years; that of depriving the Federal power grab of a means of governing by consensus.  It forced them into the Conflict Model of governance.

Paradoxically, the model suggests that when people have stronger reasons to doubt their neighbors—for example, when an oppressive government censors speech—they seek out even more opinions, and information spreads even faster. That could explain how the harshest regimes often breed a united and well-organized resistance.
 more here.

I made some astute observations and drew some conclusions that could help me understand what the 'New Model' was really about. Spengler concocted in his theorems on History; that civilization forced by the State is always an enemy of the culture.
The story of the High Cultures is that of societies that ultimately fail. Cultures eventually die, but produce fossils, canons of art and science and political forms. The period of fossilization, after the end of the culture proper, is what Spengler calls “Civilization”, which he said began for the West at the end of the 18th century. The work of modernity is the completion of the final forms. Spengler was the first philosopher of world history to write about the other great civilizations not as a mere prologue to Western history.
Spengler’s idealization of the history of High Cultures had obvious implications for the future of the West. If the analogies held, then, within a few hundred years the West should collapse into a universal empire, with a culture that would ultimately become as stiff and curatorial as Egypt’s during the New Kingdom. Meanwhile, money and democracy would increasingly hollow out the traditional forms of society, until both collapsed in the face of power politics. Wars would reach a climax of technical sophistication and speed, even as nations disintegrated internally.
Everything is in your face and full of hate now.  We just wanted to be left alone to live our lives. Who has got time for it? We have sunk fully into Spengler prediction of Power Politics and endless war.

Trying to find a means to perpetuate my mindset among the population has been difficult since the organs of control amount to a form of soft tyranny, a kind which you don't see everyday and the status quo changes minutely but consistently but along the the lines of communication, the information flows freely, some of it too quickly for proper information gathering.  One has to put a proper governor on what one is likely to believe, or is susceptible to believe.  If one is in conflict with the Conflict Governance Model, the opposition has placed you under a form of quarantine, not by bars and windows but of fear.  Almost anyone can see what this will lead to.  It foments a more powerful entrenchment of radicalism.  The radical elements become more vocal and expansively less subject to actual corroboration of the facts.  There can not be any level of agreement as to what constitutes a fact, yet people simply offer ideas which affirm or anguish over ways to dispute another's favored belief system.  One's fears tend to drive an inner tension which builds until it most likely breaks down at some point, making increasing levels of violent expression more likely.  The mediocrity of facts are obliterated by what brand of media we favor.  It is done for a purpose; namely to keep a containerized random level of disinformation, primarily to pry the status quo into acceptance of the soft tyranny of 'civilization influences.'

It sounds complicated, but the basic message of Amaral's model is that if you don't believe you have perfect information, and you don't think any single other person has perfect information, consensus will eventually be reached. That's because everyone's trying to figure out what the majority of people think. And by doing that, they actually help shape majority opinion.

Put simply, by the Amaral model of consensus building, the simulations are run from the model, the government directs where it needs to go and then the rumor mill starts hashing out bits of disinformation. This portion of the one third of the population may believe in Trutherism, or Birtherism, or the Prepper Nation but the melange has the effect of building a consensus by fragmenting several portions of the populous around internet communities.  Distance no longer seems to be a determining factor in consensus of opinion to the degree as it once was.  The 'shift in demographics' could be another belief system without enough sustainable information to build a consensus, we just don't know what to believe anymore.  But taken as a whole, when one third of the American population believes enthusiastically in secret cabals of aliens bent on evil destruction, clearly we do not have that high a bar to jump to reach complete bafflement and support for the completely incompetent "Sign the Bill in order to see what is in it.'  Pandora's box may be a Christmas present, we just don't know.

So, what must we do to preserve our liberty? One could be forgiven for having fallen into cynicism, or would have to pray for another cataclysmic event which virtually no one could explain to see the utter uselessness of trying to reach a consensus.  Who ever is the architect of this state of affairs has such great purpose as to deprive us all of our senses to come to any meaningful conclusion and has put our fate into the box until the full engineered decline or their entire system crumbles from corruption.

That may be quite a long time.  Now for a little me time...

I am learning how to hack computers, it may be the only thing worth doing when truth is subversion in a society of lies.  There comes a time when going along to get along makes you a part of the problem.  That the outrage at what you are doing to yourself and your posterity means contributing to a system that no longer is capable of feeding your need to fulfill your destiny.  One Confucious Master said to know a thing is wrong and to do nothing is the same thing as doing the deed yourself. Where are those people who said; never again? Never will the State solution for their entrenched opposition result in millions if not billions of lives destroyed, someone will have to stop it.  Who pledged never again and where are they now?

In those times; it is far more ethical to have to pick up your sacred monkey wrench, and have a go at knocking it down.  You have to look boldly into your neighbors eye and ask if they would be willing rat you out, or watch your house be vacated by men dressed in black storming it in the middle of the night.  At that point, it is the only ethical thing to do to cut your ties with them and move to a place where you might be a little safer.  Might a bright spark find a method to disprove that we aren't subject cogs in their wheel and build countless models of consistently equal value with which to bury them in their idiocracy.

So, It Comes Down To This

It seems like the echo of complacency is settling in sometimes, but with no outlet or avenue, any mouthpiece and without a leader, any hope seems disconnected and trashed. I write in my blog about some of the feelings I am personally going through and hope that it will be enough between me and my maker. I will not have to answer to anyone about how much effort is enough except to Him and to Him should always be enough. After all, I do not wish to sound too zealous, but He controls it all anyway, so what we do with it is what He really wants to see.

I also belong to 4-5 part time Ning groups, twitter like crazy and try to be a nuissance. I'm reading nonstop but also I am thinking critically. That alone takes an immense amount of work and pretty much fills my day. I love my country, and most of all my country at peace but I will trade my comfort for my kids anyday and the prospects of their lives haunts me to my core. For thousands of years and hundreds of generations from the primordial ooze, parents have wanted no less for their own.

I divide my time in every way that I can think of and quite frankly, the ride gets to be too much sometimes. I definitely don't need to get into the litany of what I see as a perfectly coordinated attack not only on liberty and property, but on basic competence and human dignity as well as livelyhood and free enterprise. Each day, it is the same thing, a new assault from a new direction and and it surely is designed to run any opposition squarely off the rails in rage and tempestuous but futile effort. Too little is not enough and too much will forever be too little. God help us.

If, we are talking about action, there have been any number of planned and civilized outrage actions and at any various levels of organization and not one iota of success. But such a tour de force on that side could give the Nazi's a run for their money in the speed in which they have gotten things organized at at our throats.

I am not a history buff, but even Hitler had the Kaiser to check his progress for a time. Even Moussilini had to suppress a few wild hairs before he got really started. This has hit and hit and hit, over and over again along every faultline there was in America. It is amazing there is any opposition to speak of at this point. I am talking about - both the at once inept yet pervasive nature of how so much of it dovetails into the rest of it. What I am suggesting is that we pay attention to what we already know in our hearts and seem to be dumbfoundedly waiting for confirmation of it to happen.

Let's assume the worst. At what point in your to do list do you decide to buy a gun? Many of us have already decided that that is a perfectly reasonable thing to do and may have already done so or are in the process of becoming a firearm owner. There are all of those issues that ownership brings up. Safety, best practices and what to do if the stuff really hits the fan, breaks into your house and you actually have to use that new stuff. There's ammo and a safe to keep it and practice, practice, practice in order to know how not to shoot yourself if you use it, because, self defense and defense of someone else is the one thing that they are good for. I thought criminals had guns.

Then there is the other part of the 'to keep and bear arms' stuff that IS in the constitution that no one really wants to talk about because it is so extreme, so fantastical that it doesn't even remotely resemble reality in any sane sense, but now, somehow, in a far out way that the founders were in their foresight able to detect from 1775, that we don't seem to be able to recognize on the evening news that lie, lie, lie about not only the country, but also ourselves and what we believe, to be mocked and ridiculed and I just get super pissed and have a tough time with it. It is Saul Alinsky's 12th rule of freeze the target and isolate, ridicule and cut off the aid. Pretty much what they are doing over and over every day to some other make believe person that so much as looks at the president Obama as the insane lunatic he is. So we were supposed to use the second amendment for that?

I KNOW how crazy this sounds but I also know that this man decided that He needed a 72% share of General Motors today and that is not even by five o'clock eastern time. Believe me, by the time he gets around to telling you how you are going to live, you will be begging, no pleading for the reeducation camp. I pray that that is not the case, but he is acting with line with the rest of our government; as if that is the only plan that they are even remotely capable of handling.

I grew up on a farm. I have seen how animals react and they do so effortlessly and they do so all day long. They never tire and they never weary, they don't even sweat. They are acting on instinct. Fight. flee, mewl, eat, get sick / well, birth and death is in their nature. It is we, who give them names and make them move, choose the time of their coming and going, how they live and how they die. They do not have to think of tomorrow, there is only this somehow terrible now we are living in and only instinct to guide them. They do so because that is their nature.

This is how this administration is running, on instinct as one great beast. Because I have seen what animals are capable of up close and to what purpose they act and react to. I am not now offering how to become alarmed. I think we are all already alarmed because we realize the implications that is happening. But do we realize what we are up against? What does it want? What is it going after? What are the forces at work within it and when will they tire? While we are navel gazing, how much longer do we have to react and to save what we are feeling from happening? What would that look like if we did 'pick up our sword' and 'gird our loins' metaphorically speaking?

So many voices talk about organized resistance and a few with an outright bewilderment as to why there hasn't been actual revolt. But I wonder if any of those same voices have an answer as to exactly when should this happen? Does anyone alive have any idea what it would take to take on America in her Imperial majesty? It's not the bloody Redcoats we are talking about. Mel Gibson in the Patriot was pretty much right to refuse to having to fight one more war. It's an insane mess. We would be fighting for our rights with pitchforks and peashooters while they would be amassed with the whole myrmidon army. Will it come to that? Only chance would know once the bottle is spun. Last time it cost America 600,000 lives who's ghosts are screaming from their graves for for the sin of slavery on mens souls. There shouldn't have to be any more lives spent achieving a more perfect union

Saul Alinsky In The Crosshairs, Pt. Duex

Previously, We have covered this fight and the origins of it in one of our posts, they say that brevity is the soul of wit, therefor, I mock myself by this blog.
The enemy has long had great love and mystical affection for one radical of radicals, fully raised in the wobblie(IWW) tradition; Saul Alinsky.  At the risk of harping, it does need further explanation that all of the colleges in the top ten during the eighties were trying to teach this stuff and mostly succeeding, I was myself thrown out of a college for writing (poorly) a term paper on human rights, that of the unborn but still very much alive people.  For that I was ridiculed, so points 3 through 6 of Power Tactics from the book, (Saul Alinsky; Rules For Radicals,) are discussed here.  Enjoy!
  • “Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this. They can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”
They have used this one to tear down the catholic church through he church scandals,, and mostly for the good, but the publication and industry of it were more for getting organized as a community for reform of the catholic church.  One would have to ask why the church, but if you dont already have an idea then you probably are not reading this blog.  They tear down the church as one of the solid pillars of the good government.  If I have to draw you a map, again, brevity. Thanks for your understanding.
However, Alinsky also taught the clergy to fight the clergy on this one.  More on this later I hope.
  • “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.”
This is the administrations whole argument, to take the opposition and make strawman arguments against them.  The Presidents whole argument for stealing our wealth and destroying the nation, is to stuff words into a straw man and say, this is what I say to that.  Ridicule and blame and dead political careers along the way. Mark my words.
  • “The threat is generally more terrifying than the thing itself.”
This part is where alot of BS starts: They plan to start a TARP, Close the internet, national conscription, take away freedoms, lock up old grandmothers and email the Ayatolla secrets to the newest nuke.  It goes on and on, and this way, even the opposition is scared the beejeezus out of pissing the Prez off.  Not that I think to highly of it.  Just saying, there is a curtain and in this case, a teleprompter.
  • “In a fight almost anything goes. It almost reaches the point where you stop to apologize if a chance blow lands above the belt.”
I am going to stick to my guns and not get billious at this point.  You probably already know my mood and I really try to be a happy guy.  I am pretty damn torqued about the last one hundred days, but most of all, I hope there is a very dark and cold place in hell for the people who put me in this mood, and the way they have treated a people to a mood of paranoia, where there was none, where there was harmony and brotherhood and made it a wasteland of trust for a vision, which almost no one else shared, and now, due to the general lack of attention to due dilligence, and a steady decline of the moral order, a refusal to get involved when your own efforts are wasted in keeping up appearance and maintaining a status quo of an illusion of immense stability.

This is a declaration of war.  Cicero said it best:
  • True law is right reason in agreement with nature; it is of universal application, unchanging and everlasting; it summons to duty by its commands, and averts from wrongdoing by its prohibitions... It is a sin to try to alter any part of this law, nor is it allowable to repeal any part of it, and it is impossible to abolish it entirely.  We cannot be freed from its obligations by senate or people, and we need not look outside ourselves for an expounder or interpreter of it.  And there will not be different laws at Rome and at Athens, or different laws now and in the future, but one eternal and unchangeable law will be valid for all nations and for all times, and there will be one master and ruler, that is God, over us all, for he is the author of this law, its promulgator, and its enforcing judge.  Whoever is disobedient is fleeing from himself and denying his human nature, and by reason of this very fact he will suffer the worst punishment. (Quoted in Ebenstein, Great Political Thinkers, p.133.)

Thus, the wicked have overpowered the strong and they themselves will cast themselves down.  All we need to do now, is get up and fight this battle and win this war.

Time To Hit The Books!

I'm off doing my homework now, got some things to do for the weekend and thought I'd publish an embed video from Youtube to see if Goog blogs are up to the task.  Time to get organized.  We are in for the bumpiest of bumpy rides.

This is about the Tea Party Movement in Houston.  The music and the cutting are excellent.  For a grassroots thing, it looks like its getting ramped up pretty quickly.  Take a look.
