Still The Only Man To Beat Obama, Was A Black Panther, Meet Bobby Rush

Aside from Bill Ayers any number of people have influenced the Presidents decision to preside over an America in decline, there was Bobby Rush, a former Black Panther who handed Obama his first and only ass-whoopin in Politics.  It may have been the radicals who educated him, but it was the Latte-Liberals who glommed onto his every word as if it was pure magic.  What they love most about him is his shared belief in an engineered decline and the tech savvy to do it..  I qoute an New Yorker article on the rise of Obama..

The rise of Barack Obama includes one glaring episode of political miscalculation. Even friends told Mr. Obama it was a bad idea when he decided in 1999 to challenge an incumbent congressman and former Black Panther, Bobby L. Rush, whose stronghold on the South Side of Chicago was overwhelmingly black, Democratic and working class.
Mr. Obama was a 38-year-old state senator and University of Chicagolecturer, unknown in much of Mr. Rush’s Congressional district. He lived in its most rarefied neighborhood, Hyde Park. He was taking on a local legend, a former alderman and four-term incumbent who had given voters no obvious reason to displace him.
Mr. Rush’s name recognition started off at 90 percent, Mr. Obama’s at 11. Then Mr. Rush’s son was murdered, leading Mr. Obama to put his campaign on hold. Later, while vacationing in Hawaii with his family, he missed a high-profile vote in the Legislature and was pilloried. (One Chicago Tribune editorial began, “What a bunch of gutless sheep.”) Then President Clinton endorsed Mr. Rush.
“Campaigns are always, ‘What’s the narrative of the race?’ ” said Eric Adelstein, a media consultant in Chicago who worked on the Rush campaign. “In a sense, it was ‘the Black Panther against the professor.’ That’s not a knock on Obama; but to run from Hyde Park, this little bastion of academia, this white community in the black South Side — it just seemed odd that he would make that choice as a kind of stepping out.”
The episode revealed a lot about Senator Obama — now running for president, against the odds again and with a relatively slim résumé. It showed his impatience with the frustrations of his state Senate job; his outsize confidence; his fund-raising powers; his broad appeal; and his willingness to be what Abner J. Mikva, a former congressman and supporter, calls “a very apt student of his own mistakes.”
It also shed light on the complicated ways that class has played out in Mr. Obama’s political career as a factor entangled with his race. Class emerged as a subtext in the Congressional campaign, along with generational differences that separate Mr. Obama from older black politicians.
He might have fared better if he had jumped into the race sooner, campaigned even harder and found a way to speak more effectively to working-class black voters, people involved with that campaign say. But most say they doubt he could have won. It is hard to take out an incumbent, and though Mr. Rush may have looked vulnerable after losing a lackluster campaign against Mayor Richard M. Daley in early 1999, he was not vulnerable enough.
“He was blinded by his ambition,” Mr. Rush said. “Obama has never suffered from a lack of believing that he can accomplish whatever it is he decides to try. Obama believes in Obama. And, frankly, that has its good side but it also has its negative side.”

Bobby Seale to Barack Obama

While ramblin around the interwebs one lonely bumpty night, I was researching a piece that pits our current eco-nomic state, with the aims of the sixties radical Black Panther's Party and then the spin off's that Bill Ayers Weathermen were trying to impress in a very serious way back when he was blowing up bombs at the Pentagon and I find this beautiful prophetic piece published before the election had even happened and the campaign was underway.

  • I personally know many of them who still have a deep rooted, well hidden hatred, for white Americans, for perceived racial grievances, both past and present. These people will interact with whites on a daily basis, but in private in the presence of other AA's express their true bitterness regarding this country, and the need for change, no matter how radical that change may be

Based on things I have heard and read of his associations in the 90's with Bill Ayers and others,, when he was 34 and not 8 years old (as Barack relates his age to the bombing apex of Ayers, instead of when his true interaction occurred), I believe Barack Obama is one of those people with a basic belief that America is an evil and racist nation that needs radical change. I not only believe that of Barack, but of his wife Michelle too, who early in his campaign let slip her true feelings about this country.

I too once held that same bitterness, and I won't claim it doesn't some time well up in me. But I finally rejected , and am able to overcome the hatred and bitterness, as I came to understand through my Christian spiritual experience what the true causes of racism and all other hatred and disputes between humans truly stem from.

But I truly doubt Barack and Michelle have rejected their hidden rage and bitterness, under the warped hateful Afro-centric version of Christianity , which they were subjected to for many years under the pastor-ship Rev Jeremiah Wright.

Che Down The Rabbit Hole Parts I and II a Movie Review

It really is fascinating the unrelenting marketing of this man.  Someone said that the brand identification of Che started with that ubique image of the man from the sixties.  I was bored on this Read the Constitution Monday and decided to go have a tortured evening watching such stuff to see if I could figure this thing out.  I did not, sad to say, nor for that matter did I ever figure out what on earth was the fascination with the Grateful Dead.
What I saw, I have to admit was a loving embrace of the revolutionary and an almost total whitewash of the man.  There is nothing of the person, only the revolutionary with a twist, that of an almost morbid fascination with gritty wounds.  Nobody ever gets better in this movie, but there seems to be an endless stream of bullet wound trajectories and woozy camera angles to fizz in and out of consciousness and blood drippy fingers.  It is almost like the movie tries to make metaphor for what the propaganda is supposed to do for you.
It also says it in the credits that this part of the movie (its actually a two parter, just like the old double feature, so thats over four hours- of Lawrence Of Arabia doting of loving embrace)that what follows is based on Che's actual diaries, and if this is what passes for his diaries, then there was absolutely no humor in the man.  Just what you would expect from reading the memoirs of a sociopath. Whatever plot interpretation, quips or jokes, or for that matter character depth is absent.  Benecio Del Toro is a fine actor and many, many fine latino actors are in it up to and including a surprising short sequence with Lou Diamond Phillips but alas , no Edward Olmos.  This thing is put together with the exact literal translation of Che's personal notes with; I want to say an almost sacrosanct devotion to every word.  I am saying almost because its not because I studied Che, or even thought of him as anything other than a misguided killer on a Statezilla binge, but I could only determine the relentless drive and heroic struggle of the sleeping in the rain, playing with buddy guts and the 'doing what needs to be done' task type stuff of the 'trooper life', sorry that does not include catholes and stinking to hell, but the romantic Zapatista, the Simon Bolivar type of revolutionary that pissed off Texans once or twice and that seem to be in need of another ass whuppin as we speak.

But what I did get as a student of history and that usually includes military history if you get into history at all, you will be struck by how absolutely by the book the memoir and the tremendously EPIC four hours of film are to Mao's Little Red Book on guerrilla warfare.  This is the motherlode of asymetrical warfare which our current baffoon in office Barack Hussien Obama seems to not only do alittle doting on dictators himself but perhaps might even fancy himself as one by the time he is through having his way with America, as in U.S, America, home of the free, land of the brave, which, Che makes quite a bit of hay blaming America in trying to unite the 'helpless peasants' behind the blood drenched cause by circling and underlining American Imperialism, shake, stir, repeat.
Any way, if you go to this thing with anything other than stars in your eyes "for the revolutionary struggle of communism" then its pretty much bound to tick you off in a few places.
I only saw maybe a handful of people at the theatre with me, so, hopefully, this thing gets sold to the latino market and fizzles out as nostalgia for sixties prop that it most definately is.  Long Live The Revolution and Off Topic

Communism's American Goals 1963

There are some who believe that it cannot happen here. There are some who are convinced it already has.

From Small Things- Great Things Grow.

Been spending time rereading some old touch points and mental notes from years ago about the brewing storm ahead.  The 910 world here, in which ideas about McCluhan and Baudrillard and the media was the masses.  The idea that the power could shift and then where would it go, where was the direction that it would head off too.

These ideas were discarded by me after 911. The radicals who were in touch with me could no longer stand the Armchair Historian Populist crap I was laying down and they and I had a very definite split.  What happened led me to discover the back rooms and alleys of history that the media had not prepared anyones mind to 'discover' because the agenda has been moving that way for a very long time, that exquisite repository of recorded history, The Roman Catholic Church.  You could spend a lifetime unlearning what you didn't know was true about the Catholic Church but I digress.

This part about Chicago Activism was something new to me, and was properly introduced immediately after the War began when someone named Bill was on some of the boards that I had been.  This man named Bill had everyone from the boards organized into echelons of tighter and tighter security and deeper and deeper levels of  confidence were weedled out of the minions.  Like a secret society of crafty social sorcerers.  Needless to say, my views opposing the free advocation of legalization of class C narcotics got me some notice.

This guy had all of the credentials you needed to have someone who claimed to be behind the Church of the Sub Genius sitting in his closest circle of friends.  Where artists were, or they called themselves artists.  Actually Bill called himself a Situational Anarchist.  Anyway, the dealings that I had with Bill at that time were extremely confrontational in such a way that he was trying to convince me that I should side with him and against the good of the country while the smoke was still rising in Manhattan.  Part of what he showed me was the then fledgeling MoveOn.org.  There was the backing and all of the preparation that just needed the right moment to launch it.  It was diabolical, but I moved on.

So, now I am playing the detective and trying to find were the bodies are buried and I can definitely tell you that I am reading and rereading anything I can get my hands on about Saul Alinksky.  That guy sounds like the real deal alright and something that Bill would have loved to quote.  I cant even begin to tell you if this Bill from Chicago in the early group networks was the same Bill they talk about with the Weather Underground or not, but it seems like too many details pop up that are too important to miss.  It has the ring of truth, like the sound a quarter makes when its dropped on its side.   The silver ones were the best.

So, if the middle class are starting to move, then they are a plutonium bomb set to short circuit. As Baudrillard was fond of saying, the shadow class were the great wildcard.  Once they started on the discovery that it was all chimera, then they would erupt and destroy meaning itself.  It is no wonder that no politician wants to get out in front of the Tea Party Movement, because the whole process of the middle class becoming radical comes out of Alinskys playbook.  That sowing of discontent is necessary, and why you see Obama making deals with Brown and others to make a New Deal global; because the revolution is not scheduled until 2012.

Did it ever occur to anyone how ultimately distressing it is that the Army we have now is trained to fight insurrections?  That we now have a President trying to drive us into confrontation with our own institutions by stealing every core value and engine of the economy he could get his hands on and that was within the first month? These plans take years to even implement, but that is not the point, the timing and structure should be analyzed for the demoralizing effect for which it is intended, because he doesn't wait for the news of the latest debacle to recede before the next one gets piled on.  OODA loops again.

This is war on one's own house. In a way that makes all other wars look like child's play.

God Bless the United States of America and save her.  We are in for some very dark times indeed.
